We're hiring a Media Manager to run the weekly content engine and manage the systems and people required to deliver consistent output. This is not an editor-only role. You own the workflow, calendar, and quality control and coordinate a small team (editors, thumbnail designer, freelancers). You will work with a VA who supports with organization, prompts, and admin tasks.
Location: Remote.
Hours and Test Period
Start at 15 hours per week for a 2-month test period.
If it's a strong fit and the system is working well, there is an option to scale to 30+ hours per week later.
Compensation
Hourly: $15 to $20 per hour
Weekly hours cap will be set at 15 hours/week during the test period.
What Success Looks Like (first 30 to 60 days)
A reliable weekly publishing machine that hits deadlines
1 full episode published weekly with strong metadata and packaging
2 segment clips published weekly
6 to 10 Shorts published weekly
Clean Dropbox organization and repeatable SOPs
A simple weekly performance report with 2 to 3 improvement actions
Weekly Output Targets
1 full YouTube episode (60 to 90 minutes)
2 segment videos (6 to 12 minutes each) pulled from the full episode
6 to 10 Shorts or vertical clips (15 to 60 seconds)
Podcast audio version published to all platforms
Episode assets packaged and organized for sponsors and internal archive
Core Responsibilities
Run the weekly content machine
Own the full pipeline from raw files to published content
Build and maintain a weekly content calendar for YouTube long-form, YouTube clips, Shorts, podcast platforms, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Skool
Manage deadlines and ensure nothing slips
Maintain consistent quality and brand voice across platforms
Repurposing engine (new and old)
Turn every new episode into clips and Shorts
Repurpose older library content into Shorts and clips weekly
Create a simple system to tag and track best moments from past episodes
Maintain a database of reusable clips, hooks, and sponsor-read moments
Team coordination and quality control
Coordinate editors, thumbnail designer, and freelancers
Create simple SOPs and checklists so work is repeatable
Review edits and enforce standards: pacing, hooks, subtitles, audio, visuals, clarity
Give direct feedback and improve output week over week
Publishing and performance loop
Upload and publish content across platforms
Coordinate titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, pinned comments
Coordinate thumbnail creation and iterate on a thumbnail system
Track performance metrics: CTR, retention, watch time, subscriber growth, Shorts performance
Provide a weekly report: what worked, what didn't, what to test next
Asset organization and operations
Maintain Dropbox file structure and naming conventions
Ensure each episode is cleanly archived: raw footage, final exports, captions, thumbnails, sponsor reads
Maintain a sponsor deliverables folder: timestamps, screenshots, links, assets
Requirements
3+ years experience producing YouTube content or managing a YouTube channel
Strong project management and systems thinking
Excellent written English and clear communication
Strong judgment for hooks, pacing, and storytelling
Comfortable coordinating people and giving direct feedback
Reliable internet and comfortable handling large files
Comfortable with Dropbox and Google Drive
