Female Fortune is a faceless YouTube channel that tells the stories of the world's most powerful self-made women. We cover female founders, CEOs, and business empire builders — and we tell their stories like Netflix documentaries, not highlight reels. Our videos are cinematic, dramatic, and built to hold viewer attention for 14–16 minutes.
We are building a long-term production team and we need a video editor who can bring our scripts to life visually.
What We Need
We need an experienced editor who specializes in faceless YouTube content — specifically documentary-style videos that use stock footage, voiceover narration, motion graphics, and text overlays. If your portfolio is full of talking-head videos or short-form content only, this is likely not the right fit.
We provide: the approved script, the voiceover recording, brand guidelines, and a reference style video. You provide: the complete edit.
Your Responsibilities
- Edit 2 primary videos per week (14–16 minutes final length)
- Edit 2 secondary videos per week (5–8 minutes final length)
- Source all B-roll footage from stock libraries (Storyblocks, Artgrid, or Pexels — we will provide access)
- Add clean motion graphic text overlays for names, dates, stats, and chapter titles
- Maintain cinematic color grading throughout — warm, high-contrast, premium feel
- Sync all visuals tightly to the voiceover pacing — no long static shots, no dead air
- All background music must be sourced from Pixabay ). Submit direct track links with every video delivery. Any Content ID claims are your responsibility to fix within 24 hours.
- Deliver a first cut within 3 days of receiving the script and voiceover
- Accept one round of specific, timestamped revision notes and deliver the final cut within 24 hours
- Export final videos at 1080p, 16:9, MP4 format
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (specify which in your proposal)
- Experience sourcing and cutting B-roll from stock libraries
- Ability to create clean lower-thirds and stat overlays using
- After Effects or built-in motion graphics
- Strong sense of pacing — you understand how to cut a documentary to maintain tension
- Reliable internet connection, capable of handling large file uploads and downloads
- Fluent English — you need to understand the script to match visuals correctly
What We Offer
- $40–$50 per video depending on quality and experience
- 4 videos per week — consistent, predictable workload
- Clear briefs and scripts every Monday for the week ahead

Trial Task
Before a long-term contract, we will ask you to complete a paid trial edit. You will receive a 3-minute voiceover segment and approved script. You will source your own B-roll, add basic text overlays, and deliver a polished 3-minute edit that matches the visual style of a premium business documentary channel.
Trial pay: $25 flat. Deadline: 72 hours. We are evaluating your B-roll selection instincts, pacing, text overlay quality, and whether your first cut needs minimal or major revision.
How to Apply
Share your portfolio — specifically faceless YouTube videos you have edited, ideally in business, finance, documentary, or biography niches. Tell us what editing software you use and your typical turnaround time for a 15-minute video. If you have edited for channels with 100K+ views, mention that.
We respond to every applicant who follows the brief. We do not respond to copy-paste proposals without portfolio links.
