The Position
We are currently looking for a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team Enjoy working outdoors with a great group of coworkers, learning new landscaping skills, and are interested in joining a company that helps employees become the best versions of themselves and grows their careers in landscaping? The successful applicant will lead a small crew through maintenance projects on client properties, displaying our values in their work and putting safety first to ensure their team has the right tools, knowledge, and attitude to complete jobs in a safe manner. In winter months, we switch to Snow Removal, so there is opportunity for year round work that helps serve our community and provide leadership for our teams when snow events occur. We anticipate this role to fill a new vacancy and will begin in early April, but it may begin sooner depending on the weather.

What a typical day looks like...
- Drive company truck and trailer to assigned job sites and transport equipment and crew safely
- Walk site to search for hazards and pick up garbage each visit
- Complete machine work and other grass cutting and maintenance tasks along with the other crew members
- Safely operate a variety of machinery including riding lawn mowers, walk-behinds, push mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pruners, in various kinds of weather
- Ensure all crew members are wearing PPE, follow all safety expectations, and have extra company issued PPE in truck
- Mentor and guide crew members to delegate work and complete properties in time and on budget
- Do final walk through of each site after every visit to ensure all jobs have been completed properly
- Complete daily site reports and any other necessary paperwork
- Complete all daily electronic timesheets for yourself and fellow crew members
Our Expectations:
- Physically fit and able to fulfill job requirements

- Able to communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- Detail oriented, hard working, and punctual
- Previous experience as a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader and mentoring other employees preferred
- Previous experience driving a truck with a trailer
- G Class drivers license and a clean driver's abstract required
- Proper safe operation techniques of all maintenance equipment (zero turn lawnmowers, walk behinds, trimmers, pruners etc.)
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at the shop and on jobsites
