We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill the role of Border Patrol Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations, protecting national borders, and upholding public safety.
- This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
A successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in any field or one year of general work experience demonstrating sound decision-making capabilities under pressure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role:
• Possess excellent physical stamina for demanding fieldwork.• Demonstrate proficiency in English (written/spoken) with knowledge of Spanish language an asset.• Meet specific medical standards due to physically demanding job requirements.
Benefits Package
The benefits package offered includes:
- An annual base salary varying per grade level: GL-5/GL-7 $49, 39 - $89, 18 per year
- Salary adjustments based on duty location impacting pay rates; locality pay higher in some locations than others . A fully trained BPA may qualify for up to an additional 25%of their base compensation post-BPA Pay Reform Act
of 2014 . Successful completion
ofthe six-month intensive instruction at U.S. Border Patrol Academy ensures graduates receive career-long support.
