About the Role

The Coordinator, Community + Brand Marketing is a field marketing-driven, people-first role responsible for bringing Organika's community strategy to life at the local level. You're not just attending events—you're building relationships, creating organic momentum, and making Organika a familiar, trusted presence in the lives of our consumers. Acting as a key connector between the brand and community, you'll plan and execute our community strategy on the ground, support 360° campaigns through IRL activation, and help ensure every interaction with Organika feels intentional, inclusive, and unmistakably on-brand.

This is a highly dynamic role perfect for someone early in their marketing career who loves being out in the field, thrives in motion, takes ownership naturally, meets ambiguity with creativity, sees magic in the details, and believes the strongest brands are built through real human connection. 

Job Location 

This is a predominantly in-office role based out of Organika's Vancouver head office. Regular local travel throughout the Lower Mainland is required to support offsite community events and activations. Occasional regional or national travel may be required in support of key partnerships and brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the brand in the community by attending key cultural events, wellness clubs, gyms and studios where our Organika fans gather and connect, fostering authentic engagement and brand love (monthly community engagement budget provided). 
  • Represent Organika on the ground through in-person demos and sampling experiences, confidently seeding products, driving trial, and sharing the brand's passion for wellness (some evenings and weekends required).
  • Collaborate with social media team on community content opportunities, supporting capture, creation and coverage at events when necessary.  
  • Help shape and execute Organika's community event sampling program, including reviewing inbound requests, coordinating with event partners, managing product ordering and shipments, distributing marketing collateral, tracking inventory, and monitoring KPIs to measure and drive impact.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key community leaders, identifying opportunities to amplify their impact through Organika's products, brand platform and storytelling.
  • Own the Brand Ambassador program, including recruitment support, onboarding, training, communications, scheduling, and ongoing engagement for all brand-led events and activations.
  • Coordinate all community event logistics, including equipment, delivery, setup and teardown, ensuring seamless, on-brand, professional execution.
  • Maintain organization and inventory of marketing storage, swag, and event materials, ensuring all assets are stocked, on-brand, and activation-ready for internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Support 360° campaign execution by identifying opportunities to integrate community leaders, ambassadors, and influencers into seasonal campaigns and product launches through micro-events, PR and gifting moments, and surprise-and-delight initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Social/Digital, E-Comm, Sales/Retail) to support campaign execution where needed.
  • Own and manage the B2C events calendar, ensuring alignment with the master marketing calendar and visibility across teams.
  • Track, analyze, and report on community and event marketing KPI performance to inform learnings, optimize execution, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, events, community engagement, brand activations, partnerships, or a related field. 
  • Natural leadership instincts with proven experience exercising initiative and ownership, strategic and creative problem solving, and the ability to create and communicate clear, organized, and detailed project plans effectively. 
  • Confident, personable, 'connector' energized by real-life experiences and environments. 
  • General understanding and genuine interest in regional wellness-related activity, cultural moments, and community events.
  • Experience creating content for social media with the ability to capture moments and translate into quick-turn digital storytelling.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with external partners, stakeholders, ambassadors, influencers, and event organizers. 
  • Experience representing an organization in a customer-facing role considered an asset (ie. Brand Ambassador, retail, hospitality, customer service, reception, sales, sports coach, fitness instructor). 
  • Working proficiency with a graphic design platform (ie. Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) to create basic on-brand event support collateral as required.
  • Experience using project management software an asset
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (ie. Marketing, business, event management).  
  • This role may require use of a personal vehicle for work-related transportation of demo and event materials. Reimbursement provided in compliance with the British Columbia work related expenses and allowances guidelines.
