Reporting to the Manager of Treasury Operations – Bank Operations Management, the Business Analyst Intern/Co-op you will play a key role in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. As part of this, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across North America, including Treasury Operations leadership, business and technical subject matter experts, and internal partners (IT, Finance, etc.). Your ultimate measure of success will be the timely delivery and stakeholder adoption of new or enhanced business solutions.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Project Support : Assist Manager of Operations with analysis, documentation and coordination support.
  • Project Coordination and Execution : Support end-to-end delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery of results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless communication, address queries, and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Process Improvement and Automations: Participate in process discovery, current-state assessment, and documentation and build bots to streamline high-volume, rules-based workflows for better efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Multi-Project Involvement: Support multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to different areas within Treasury Operations and project needs as required.
  • Learning and Development : Develop business analysis, banking operations, systems knowledge through mentorship, training, and hands-on project work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in business analysis, process improvement/automation (RPA/Power Platform), data analysis/analytics, and business strategy or operations.
  • Foundational proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps/Power Automate) and Power BI; ability to analyze operational data and build reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot to design, configure, and deploy agents/bots for workflow automation, data retrieval, and user assistance.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (Visio,) and data visualization (Power BI).
  • Understanding of business process modeling and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and recommending practical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Exposure to RPA platforms and basic SQL for data extraction/reconciliation
