We are looking for positive and team-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Edmonton Distribution Centre for a 6 months contract. Join our Operations team to make an impact by receiving and stocking medical products as well as fulfilling orders while servicing clients in the Health Care industry.

Location : 8590 Baxter Place, Burnaby, BC V5A 4T2

Hourly rate : $20.60

Contract: 6 month contract with possibility of permanence

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:15pm

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:

  • Process all incoming or outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations

  • Ensure accuracy and verify quality of products being picked and received

  • Operate all types of warehouse mobile equipment; training provided

  • Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling

  • Follow company health and safety guidelines and policies

  • Ensure a clean and orderly working environment to improve overall efficiency of operations

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives

Qualifications:  

  • High School diploma, preferred

  • Comfortable with lifting 10lbs - 30lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs

  • Forklift experience (Sit-Down Counter Balance or Reach)

  • Machine operations and RF scanners experience, preferred

  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and being active while working

  • Attention to detail while producing work with high accuracy

  • Work in a team environment where strong communication skills and quality control are crucial
