Salary: £25,210.25 Full Time Equivalent
Location: Office Based - Stone
Hours: 24 hours per Week - 3 days

We are on the lookout for a passionate Part-Time Administrator to join our fostering team and help us make a difference!

Your Role

As our Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our fostering team by:

  • Working within Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards.
  • Maintaining databases and electronic filing systems.
  • Managing fostering paperwork and forms.
  • Providing a warm welcome to visitors and supporting various meetings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including:
    • Maintaining electronic and paper files.
    • Producing professional emails and letters.
    • Processing incoming and outgoing post.
    • Organizing meetings and taking minutes.
    • Managing petty cash and processing invoices/expenses.
  • Support the social work team with data collection and auditing.
  • Build supportive relationships with foster parents as a key point of contact.
  • Liaise with Local Authority social workers.
  • Maintain accurate databases/registers of referrals and children placed.
  • Ensure the smooth running of office premises under the Registered Manager's direction.
  • Attend regular team meetings and represent Orange Grove positively.
What We’re Looking For
  • GCSE level education with grades A-C in Mathematics and English.
  • Proficient in Databases and Microsoft Office Suite (skills will be tested during the interview).
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally in a child-centered or caring environment.
  • Strong minute-taking skills and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage conflict and work autonomously.
  • Professionalism and diplomacy in representing Orange Grove Fostercare.
Working Conditions

Interviews may be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in person at our Stone office. The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Orange Grove.
