Location: Dunsley Hall School, Kinver, Stourbridge

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
• Support the class team in creating learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure all needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
• Build strong relationships with pupils to enhance interaction and drive positive learning outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
• Have previous successful teaching experience.
• Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
• Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
• Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
