Your RoleWe are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher with experience in SEN and KS4, ideally with a passion for teaching English. If you are dedicated, innovative, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
As a member of our team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and adaptive lessons that cater to all learning needs.
- Implement effective curriculum development to ensure meaningful and accessible learning.
- Utilize excellent behaviour management strategies to foster a calm and structured environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children to support their social and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team, sharing expertise and supporting one another.
- Adapt your teaching styles to create inclusive and personalized learning experiences.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A qualified SEN Teacher status (QTS essential) with diverse experience across key stages.
- Previous experience teaching extremely vulnerable children at KS4.
- An English specialism or the ability to teach English is preferable.
- The capability to teach an additional secondary subject is desirable.
- A proactive and flexible teaching approach, with the ability to differentiate learning.
- Strong behaviour management skills, coupled with a nurturing and empathetic demeanor.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a supportive school culture.
- A passion for creative arts is highly desirable, adding inspiration to our curriculum.
