Job Description

As a BPA (Border Patrol Agent) , you will be part of our dedicated team that safeguards America's borders, preventing and deterring illicit activity.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents, and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance techniques during night operations.


• Pursuing tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry into our country. Performing farm checks in rural areas for contraband transportation via trucks crossing U.S./Mexico border crossings with local checkpoints nearby cities traffic enforcement duties including downtown area stops where drivers get stopped regularly patrolling highways both day & evening patrol assignments along riverside paths searching suspect vessels seaports bus stations side railroads' authority train railway federal customs police boat station coastlines commercial ferry landings ocean ports offices international airports airline ticket booths transport services insurance agency
