Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners or other devices to track inventory and order progress.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Meet daily picking quotas and productivity standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Team player with good communication skills.
