Boundary Enforcement Agent

A Customs and Border Protection Officer , also known as a CBPO, plays a vital role in safeguarding America's borders, preventing illicit activities, and promoting economic growth.

• The primary responsibilities of this role include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Inspecting individuals and conveyances at ports of entry;


• Detecting contraband goods being smuggled across the border;


• Maintaining accurate records of all inspections performed;

In addition to these key tasks,
a Customs and Border Protection Officer must have excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
This includes facilitating trade by ensuring timely processing of goods crossing international borders.
