About this Role:
- Career Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) opportunities available for full-time positions.
This exciting role requires individuals with strong communication skills, ability to work in stressful situations and maintain composure. You will also need to learn regulations, methods and techniques through classroom training or on-the-job instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
- Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status or violations.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications :
To qualify for this position you must possess one year general work experience demonstrating decision-making skills under stress or have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Bonus Information: The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is offering recruitment incentives up to $20K upon completion of BPA Academy training including priority location selection. Further retention incentive eligibility depends on duration at post.
