We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team.
This position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations, facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel, conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States, preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods, as well as detecting smuggling activities.
Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years old to apply for this position. The maximum age limit is 37 years old (35 years for police officers who already have law enforcement experience).
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law , this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions.Military service does not count towards eligibility.Candidates that meet these requirements will proceed to take an online examination known as CBP Entrance Exam located on USAJOBS website before proceeding further in order get hired by CBP career.The test includes multiple-choice questions assessing knowledge about various subjects such as math problem solving general reasoning analytical thinking etc.Take practice tests so they pass easily.It also covers reading comprehension which assesses ability understand written passages.Good communication skills make sure their writing abilities tested because CBP uses it quite often during hiring process.To register first go onto official government site usajobs.gov select Job Title – "Customs And Border Protection OFFICER", click “Apply” submit necessary documents then wait until contacted back.Last Step -Take actual Assessment Test after registering through above mentioned steps.Here’s more detailed information relating what's expected from job applicants including topics involved inside questionnaires once signed up !!
