Job Title: Enterprise Applications Engineer
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Salary: 130k-180k
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Developer to join our team. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software applications. You will collaborate with a team of developers and IT professionals to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and deploy software applications using various programming languages and frameworks
-Scheduling month-end maintenance such as: Windows updates, SQL maintenance, query optimization, and security patching
-Inter-department coordination during system upgrades; assessing and communicating risk factors of upcoming upgrades, primarily when integrated systems cause a "trickle-down" effect
- Coordinate with application stakeholders and IT team to prioritize and address issues and future objectives for financial systems.
- Responsible for testing financial system applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades, and monthly system maintenance,
- Documentation of system setup, integrations, backup, and disaster recovery processes
- Communicates and informs the department and management of project statuses, issues, and proposed resolutions.
- Manage vendor support tickets
- Track and optimize system performance and storage utilization, plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth
- Research and evaluate new tools/technologies to improve the current application stack
- Utilize tools to protect application source code and maintain versioning.
Any additional responsibilities as required by management Other responsibilities include: Compulaw administration, maintenance and integrations Basic 'end user' application troubleshooting and maintenance such as: FasTax, B&A Forms, Allstate legal forms, LexisNexis etc. Support requests/tickets escalated from the helpdesk team Documentation of processes/procedures, 'how-to' guides, and frequently asked question resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code - Troubleshoot and debug software applications to identify and resolve issues - Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience operating with legal accounting and time management software required, experience with Elite 3E preferred
- Fluency in the Elite 3E SQL database schema preferred or demonstrated ability to develop such fluency
- Experience with maintaining 3E Templates ("Design Gallery"), Workspace and BizTalk - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar role - Strong knowledge of operating systems and IT infrastructure - Proficiency in .NET framework and other programming languages such as C# or Java - Experience with system design and architecture - Familiarity with vulnerability management, DNS, and systems engineering - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure - Experience with Pegasystems or other business process management tools is a plus
