Advanced Python & Libraries: Demonstrate proficiency in Python, specifically with Pandas, Polars, and NumPy, for efficient data manipulation and API interaction. Expert SQL & Optimization: Possess advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and expertise in Snowflake performance tuning. ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Design and build robust, idempotent, and fault-tolerant data pipelines using frameworks like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or custom Python. Cloud Platform Proficiency: Have hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their relevant services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Data Factory, Synapse, BigQuery). Transformation-as-Code (dbt): Expertly use dbt for developing modular, testable, well-documented, and version-controlled SQL-based data transformations and models. Big Data & Distributed Computing: Apply Apache Spark (PySpark) and Databricks to process large-scale (multi-terabyte) datasets and optimize cluster performance. Workflow Orchestration: Manage and monitor complex data workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, focusing on scheduling and reliability. Data Warehousing & Modeling: Design and implement effective data models (e.g., star/snowflake, data vault) for modern data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
