Drive the creation of automated solutions to enhance business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Oversee ETL jobs and troubleshoot critical production issues, participating in the after-hours support rotation and offering subject matter expertise as necessary.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data platforms, focusing on optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain thorough documentation for data processes, applications, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and adherence to organizational standards.
Create and deploy scalable reporting and dashboard solutions to support business intelligence and operational efficiency, with a strong focus on security.
Qualifications: Advanced experience in Microsoft SQL Server, focusing on designing and optimizing enterprise data solutions for performance.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS.
Familiarity with version control concepts and experience using Microsoft DevOps in collaborative development.
Expert knowledge of SDLC processes and the ability to lead these initiatives.
Proficient in T-SQL programming, with strong skills in writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required; a bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.
A minimum of four years in IT, focusing on relational databases, data integration, data warehousing, and BI.
Four or more years of hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS.
Four or more years of experience with MS SQL database management systems.
Preferred: Strong knowledge of integrating applications via APIs.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft BI tools (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI).
Plus: Knowledge of cloud-based database services like Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python or Java.
