Join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! We are seeking reliable and organized individuals to manage both inbound and outbound flow of goods. This role is multifaceted, involving the accurate preparation and dispatch of outgoing shipments, as well as the efficient receiving and stocking of incoming materials. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations. You will play an integral part in our supply chain, contributing to timely deliveries and accurate inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Process, package, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and quality of goods against orders.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within the logistics framework.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting and moving of packages.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is required.
- Proficiency with shipping software and WMS is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to a strong safety culture is essential.
