You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date. Adherence to all safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The role involves moving and handling inventory, so a good level of physical fitness and the ability to perform lifting are necessary. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, coordinating with procurement.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Work with the logistics team to improve overall warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed, including lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform manual tasks as required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
