We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. Your precision and adherence to Safety protocols are critical for maintaining a secure and productive work environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, supporting our overall Logistics operations. This role requires experience with reach trucks, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. We provide all necessary training and ensure all employees are equipped with appropriate PPE . While operating the reach truck is primary, you may also be asked to assist with other warehouse duties, which could involve some Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and stack pallets.
- Load and unload trucks with accuracy and care.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and replenishment tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Support the overall efficiency of the warehouse Logistics operations.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
- Perform occasional tasks involving manual handling and Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a reach truck, with valid certification if required by local regulations. Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics procedures. Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices for equipment operation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness. Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Knowledge of the proper use and care of PPE . Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting and standing. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent communication skills.
