We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing them securely for shipment, and ensuring that all items are processed efficiently. Your contribution is vital to our Logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will use scanning devices to locate items, assemble orders, and prepare them for dispatch. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. We provide thorough training on all processes and equipment, as well as the necessary PPE . This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices and pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the order fulfillment process and overall Logistics flow.
- Perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in order picking or packing is a plus. Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics . Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE . Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform occasional Lifting for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Team player with a positive attitude. Must be reliable and punctual.
