This role is crucial for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and verifying the contents of outgoing orders. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of shipping procedures. You will work closely with warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and verifying all necessary shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing slips).
- Coordinating with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurately picked, packed, and labeled.
- Maintaining organized shipping records and files.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Conducting quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory reconciliation as needed.
