As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely from receiving to storage and ultimately to shipping. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other heavy machinery (certification may be required), loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training to ensure your success and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, be comfortable with manual labor and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and possess a positive attitude. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and hazard communication.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics chain.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
