Job Summary:
We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our bustling warehouse facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is critical for managing the inflow of materials and products into our supply chain. You will be responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments. A meticulous approach and a strong understanding of logistics processes are essential. We emphasize a culture of Safety, and all team members are required to follow established Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
  • Label and stage incoming inventory for proper put-away.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock and warehouse area.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely if required and certified.
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal departments regarding deliveries.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures without exception.
  • Ensure the mandatory use of PPE throughout the workday.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a related warehouse/logistics role is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations within a logistics environment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced setting.
