Seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately documented, processed, and dispatched. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order details, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. A strong understanding of shipping software and procedures is essential. This position requires excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including the proper use of PPE. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ability to handle moderate lifting is also necessary. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace, and regular training on safety protocols and lifting techniques will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Follow safe lifting procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
