We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our team in Portland, Oregon! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, playing a crucial part in our efficient Logistics operations. Your primary duties will involve using pick lists or scanning devices to locate items in the warehouse, verifying quantities, and staging them for packing and shipping. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure that customers receive the correct items, minimizing returns and maximizing satisfaction. You'll be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, often on your feet, and may operate equipment such as pallet jacks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or scanner data.
- Locate items efficiently within the warehouse.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Report any picking discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
