As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves. You will utilize various equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified), to navigate the warehouse efficiently. Your daily tasks will involve reading pick tickets, locating items, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all Safety instructions.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
