Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick customer orders from our inventory and package them securely for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Utilize scanning devices to ensure precise order fulfillment.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Be prepared for regular Lifting of items, up to 40 lbs, as part of daily tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists, labels, and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for frequent Lifting and moving of products.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe workplace.
