Are you an energetic individual looking for a role in a fast-paced logistics environment? We are hiring an Order Picker in Seattle, Washington. This position is crucial for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve items for shipment, ensuring that orders are accurate and ready for packing. This role demands speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Use of scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Ensure all picked items are correct and undamaged.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear provided PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other light equipment as needed.
- Meet daily picking targets.
Requirements:
Must be able to perform significant lifting, up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics is helpful. Must be attentive to detail and possess good reading comprehension. Commitment to safety and wearing required PPE is mandatory.
