We are seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact our ability to serve our customers. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all team members must rigorously follow safety procedures and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves regular physical activity, including moderate to heavy Lifting of various items. You will receive training on proper Lifting techniques to ensure your safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments from trucks.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting procedures.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and guidelines.
- Ensure consistent use of required PPE.
- Perform tasks that require regular Lifting and moving of products (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Willingness to wear and use all necessary PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
