We are seeking a proactive Fulfillment Associate to join our busy warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this dynamic role, you will be involved in various aspects of the order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our logistics operations, contributing directly to our ability to serve our customers effectively. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process orders for fulfillment.
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for using scanning devices.
- Good work ethic and punctuality.
Safety & PPE:
Ensuring a safe working environment is our top priority. You will be provided with and required to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests and gloves. Understanding and practicing safe lifting techniques and following all warehouse safety procedures is mandatory. Your contribution to our logistics safety culture is highly valued.
