Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets and scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Ensure all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used correctly.
- Follow safe lifting techniques and practices to prevent injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist in receiving and put-away of incoming goods as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Proficiency with scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with excellent communication abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
