Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and forklifts.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Inspect machinery for wear and tear, recommending replacements or repairs.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate equipment safely and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations staff to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with automated warehouse systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial Safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various warehouse conditions.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE.
