We are looking for a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our team in the vibrant city of San Diego, California. This role is integral to our logistics operations, involving a wide range of tasks to ensure the efficient handling and storage of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding high standards of operational excellence and safety. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively within the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock with accuracy and efficiency.
- Pack and prepare items for shipping according to company standards.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse layout.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to team goals and support colleagues in daily tasks.
- Participate in inventory management and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure timely movement of goods to support the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
