Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe operations within our logistics facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, a strong understanding of inventory control, and the ability to motivate and develop staff. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. This includes managing staff schedules, training new employees, and ensuring all personnel adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Train and mentor warehouse personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained on equipment operation and safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient logistics flow.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, minimize discrepancies, and reduce shrinkage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety guidelines for lifting and material handling.
  • Investigate and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and standard office software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices for lifting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
