We are looking for diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our thriving logistics center in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Your contribution is vital to our reputation for timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label outgoing packages correctly and stage them for the shipping department.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and company procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or damages to a supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent and repetitive physical exertion, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
