Join our energetic team as a Picker/Packer in sunny Jacksonville, Florida! We are looking for motivated individuals to efficiently pick and pack customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for locating items, verifying quantities, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipment. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Perform regular inventory checks of packing supplies.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory as needed.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product information.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with others.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
