Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you must be proficient in operating equipment safely and adhering to all company Safety protocols, including the consistent use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of inventory.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Ensure materials are properly secured and stored.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and regulations, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding material movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Good physical condition and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
