Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify counts and product information against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Accurately document all received and shipped goods using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean receiving and shipping area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is required.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety and proper PPE usage.
