You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, scheduling tasks, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and logistics , with excellent organizational and leadership skills. This position requires the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and may involve some physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE is essential. You will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse performance and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff assignments.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE .
- Manage the workflow to meet productivity and delivery targets.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with transportation and other departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
