We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate in Kansas City, Missouri, to play a vital role in our e-commerce logistics operations. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing online orders from receipt to shipment. Your duties will include picking, packing, kitting, and preparing orders for delivery. We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of accuracy and speed, ensuring customer satisfaction. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety; all associates must strictly follow established protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This role requires physical activity, including regular Lifting, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential for success in this critical logistics function.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming orders using our fulfillment system.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Perform kitting and assembly tasks as required.
- Prepare shipments for various carriers, including applying labels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Wear all required PPE and follow all Safety guidelines diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment, order picking, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets.
