Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This key role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will implement and manage inventory control procedures, conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices within the logistics and warehousing fields. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and report on inventory status.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage and loss.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock efficiently.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to manage stock levels and forecast demand.
  • Implement measures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
