Border Patrol Agent Opportunity As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our dedicated team working to safeguard the nation's borders and protect its citizens. Your primary responsibilities will include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near the border, interpreting tracks marks physical evidence of illegal entry persons contraband performing farm checks building traffic city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundary coastal waterways using vehicles horses vessels off-road ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles.
To qualify as a GL-5 grade level candidate must possess one year general work experience demonstrating ability take charge make sound decisions maintain composure stressful situations learn regulations methods techniques classroom training job instruction gather concise information through questioning observation examination records OR bachelor degree successful completion full four-year course study any field leading bachelor degree from accredited college university combination Experience Education.
