The role of a Border Patrol Agent involves safeguarding the country’s borders by detecting and preventing unauthorized entry of immigrants.

• Patrolling national borders using various modes such as vehicles, horses, vessels or other equipment to monitor activities.


• Evaluating surveillance data from aircrafts, satellite imagery or any other source to track down illegal entrants.


• Maintaining detailed records of patrol operations including individual case notes for future reference.
