• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent undocumented noncitizens from crossing borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.

To be successful in this role, you must possess one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement will also qualify you for consideration. A combination of both experience and education may also meet the qualifications.

This position offers an excellent compensation package including annual base salary ranging from $49,739 to $89,518 per year. Additionally,
you'll receive health insurance plans,a generous annual leave program,and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k). You may also be eligible for recruitment incentives up to$20,000and retention incentives up to$40,000distributed over your first four years.
