About This Job:
Protect America's borders while making a difference in your community as a Border Patrol Agent (BPA).This role involves detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending aliens at the borders using surveillance techniques during night operations.
You will work closely with other law enforcement officials to identify patterns of criminal activity, gather evidence for cases prosecuted through the court system.
Key Responsibilities

The job requires staying alert as you patrol along highways or trails on foot; responding quickly when spotting suspicious behavior. Always do what makes sense without encouraging further violence.
The success of this position depends on effective communication skills; being able stay focused even under stressful conditions is also key.
Priior experience working similar roles would be beneficial but not necessary.
