As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

Your primary duty will be to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders. This includes detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status or violations.

You will also perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks among other duties. You may need to patrol international boundaries using various government assets such as vehicles , horses , vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles for accomplishment of USBP Mission .
