Junior Kitchen Manager

As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will:

• Support the Kitchen Manager in running a bustling kitchen.
• Lead and inspire a talented team of chefs, stepping up in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Monitor and enhance guest experiences, developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Conduct daily briefings and manage stock control.
• Ensure food presentation meets our high standards.
• Manage financial performance, including food cost budgets through effective menu planning.
• Uphold food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
• Be a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training and performance development plans are in place for your team.

We’re looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who:

• Have experience in a similar role and a passion for delivering high standards.
• Are hardworking, reliable, and always looking for better ways to enhance team performance.
• Possess a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Understand the importance of managing margins and controlling costs.
• Bring a fun-loving spirit and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.

This role involves a 5-day working week over 7 days , totaling 40 hours . Flexibility is key, as some shifts may extend late into the night, with 4am finishes on occasion.
