Senior Network Architect
who has a passion for solving complex network challenges and mentoring others. If you're ready to work hands-on and tackle stimulating network issues, while supporting customers with outstanding service, we want you! What You'll Do: Design and implement high-performance, secure data center networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) within product and infrastructure teams.
Configure and set up routers and other networking devices.
Monitor network performance, device health, and overall integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated from junior service desk members, covering both cloud and local infrastructures.
Automate operational tasks and assess their effectiveness.
Mentor team members on advanced technical topics.
Develop, oversee, and test security measures, including access control and disaster recovery protocols.
Collaborate with users to create optimal network solutions.
Design and implement scalable network solutions to enhance performance and capacity.
Maintain thorough technical documentation for all systems.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.
Required Skills & Experience: Must hold a Secret clearance.
At least 8 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
Proven expertise in data center network architecture and design, particularly with spine-leaf topology.
Must possess CCIE (Data Center) or CCNP certification (CCIE preferred).
Deep knowledge of network security principles and practices.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and various routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
Experience with OSI network layers, diagnostics, and troubleshooting tools.
Hands-on experience with WAN, firewalls, LAN, DNS, VLANs, VPNs in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments (AWS and Microsoft Azure).
Familiarity with Storage Area Networks (SANs) and experience with Dell or legacy Brocade switches.
Capability to configure networks using a Fibre Channel Switch Fabric topology.
Experience with Linux and VMware systems, including network and firewall configuration.
Knowledge of TACACS, Radius, and authentication services.
Proficient in using network diagnostic and monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
Strong understanding of Cisco IOS and proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
Desired Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience with Dell switches, servers, and SAN.
Possession of Security+ certification.
5+ years of experience with NAS and/or SAN configuration and maintenance.
